![]() This has been true of all of Nintendo’s official Amiibo, as well as the Shovel Knight one that was released by Yacht Club. The Amiibo sits in a plastic blister pack, attached to a flimsy cardboard backing. Up to this point, I believe, every Amiibo has been packed in the same style. ![]() I have to say, Blizzard really outdid themselves on the packaging for this Amiibo. Originally released in December of 2018, this exclusive Amiibo is something I needed to get for my collection! Packaging The other day I was at my local GameStop, just wandering around and killing some time, when I saw something on the shelf that I haven’t seen in the wild before: the Diablo III Loot Goblin Amiibo. I’ll admit that this isn’t a feature I have actually taken advantage of before, however, I think I have now found a reason to. ![]() As an added bonus for the Switch version of the game (as if the ability to play this game anywhere without having to set up a laptop wasn’t enough), Blizzard added Amiibo support to the game. It’s for that reason that I ultimately decided to pick up Diablo III on my Nintendo Switch when it came out last November. ![]() My issue with the game on PC starts and ends with two things: the need for constant online connectivity while playing and the fact that you control your character with the mouse. To the contrary, I play the game all the time on my Nintendo Switch. One comment I know that I’ve made that has ruffled more than a few feathers is my open dislike of Diablo III…on PC.Īs I often find myself having to explain, I don’t hate the game itself. I like to think that I’m generally pretty open about my feelings regarding games, even if I have an opinion that goes against the grain. ![]()
